In short
- Google Analytics loads only if you choose Allow analytics. You can reject it or change your choice at any time from the footer.
- We do not run an advertising or remarketing pixel.
- There is no server and no database behind it. The site is a set of static files on a content network.
- The enquiry form does not submit anything to us. It checks what you have typed, drafts a WhatsApp message and opens it — nothing leaves your device until you press send in WhatsApp.
- The cost calculator runs entirely in your browser. The figures you enter are never transmitted.
- Three things can still reach a third party: the WhatsApp message you choose to send, the Google map embedded on the contact page, and the standard request log kept by our host.
The summary is here to be useful, not to be relied on. The numbered sections below are the ones that apply.
1. Who we are
Homeland Civil Tech is a design-and-build construction company based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Our office is at 3rd Floor, CSI Building, TC No. 28/885, Mahatma Gandhi Rd, Pulimoodu, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala 695001.
For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy. Where that Act's provisions are not yet in force, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 apply instead. We follow both.
Questions about this policy, or about data we hold: email homelandciviltech@gmail.com, call +91 79072 87003, or write to us at the office address above. We are open Mon–Sat 10:00–18:00 · Sunday closed.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers www.homelandciviltech.in and the enquiry routes that start on it. It is about the website.
It does not cover what happens after you become a client. Once a construction agreement is signed, the drawings, approvals, site records, payment schedule and correspondence that the project generates are governed by that agreement and by the statutory record-keeping obligations that come with building work. It also does not cover websites we link to — see section 6.
3. What you give us, and where it goes
The enquiry form on the contact page asks for five things. Two are required, three are optional:
- Your name — required.
- Your mobile number, with a country code — required. We ask for a WhatsApp number because that is how the enquiry is delivered.
- Your email address — optional.
- A description of your plan: the plot, the approximate area, what you want to build — optional.
- When you would like to start — a choice from a short list.
The form does not send anything to us. It checks what you have typed, composes a plain-text message from it, and opens WhatsApp with that message already drafted. Nothing leaves your device until you press send in WhatsApp, and if you close the WhatsApp tab instead, we never see it.
There is one more field on the form, hidden from view and from screen readers. It is a decoy for automated spam, it is expected to stay empty, and a browser will never fill it. It collects nothing about you.
Everything else you can do on this site is local to your browser. The cost calculator works out an indicative figure from the numbers you set and does not transmit them. There is no account to create, no newsletter to subscribe to and no comment to post.
You can of course reach us outside the form — by calling +91 79072 87003, by emailing homelandciviltech@gmail.com, by messaging us on WhatsApp directly, or by walking into the office. What you tell us that way is handled the same as an enquiry.
4. What is collected automatically
By us: the site has no server-side enquiry database. Every page is a file built in advance and served from a content network. If you allow analytics, we receive aggregated website measurement from Google Analytics.
By our host: the standard request data that every web server keeps — your IP address, the time of the request, the page or asset requested, and the browser and device string your browser sends. This is what makes it possible to deliver a page at all and to block a denial-of-service attempt. We have not enabled any analytics product on the hosting account, so these logs are not aggregated into visitor reports for us and we do not read them.
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics receives the page you view, general device/browser information, approximate usage information and these non-personal actions: phone, WhatsApp, email and directions clicks, form start, and a validated WhatsApp-draft action. We do not send names, phone numbers, email addresses, free-text messages or precise project locations to Analytics. We do not run advertising or remarketing pixels.
6. Third parties your browser can reach
This is the complete list. Each of these companies has its own privacy policy, which governs what they do with what they see. We are not responsible for their handling of your data and we cannot delete anything from their systems on your behalf.
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd / WhatsApp LLC)
- Every enquiry on this site is handed to WhatsApp. When you press send, your message, your phone number and your WhatsApp profile details reach us through Meta's service, and Meta processes them under its own terms. We have no control over that leg of the journey and no way to delete a message from their systems. Read their privacy policy.
- Google Maps and Google Business Profile (Google LLC)
- The contact page and the directions sheet embed a Google map of our office. Loading that embed sends your IP address and browser details to Google and may set Google cookies. The embed is lazy-loaded, so it does not run until you scroll to it or open the directions sheet. The link to our Maps profile opens Google in a new tab. Read their privacy policy.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC)
- Only if you choose Allow analytics, we load Google Analytics. It receives page views and the non-personal interaction events described in section 4 so we can understand how the site is used. We do not send it your name, phone number, email address, enquiry text or precise project location. Choosing Reject means Google Analytics does not load from this site. Read their privacy policy.
- Instagram and Facebook (Meta Platforms)
- We link to our profiles from the footer. These are ordinary links — no Meta script, pixel or share widget runs on this site, so nothing is reported back to Meta unless you follow the link. Read their privacy policy.
- Vercel Inc. (hosting)
- The site is served as static files from Vercel's network. Like any web host, Vercel records standard request data — IP address, timestamp, the page requested, browser and device string — to deliver the page and to defend against abuse. We do not enable Vercel's analytics product, so we see none of this at a per-visitor level. Read their privacy policy.
7. Why we use your information
We use what you send us for these purposes and no others:
- To reply to your enquiry and answer your questions.
- To arrange and carry out a site visit, and to find the plot.
- To prepare an indicative estimate and, if you ask for one, a detailed bill of quantities.
- To perform a construction agreement, if we go on to sign one.
- To keep the records that tax, contract and building law require us to keep.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, our basis is your consent — given when you choose to send us the enquiry — together with the legitimate uses the Act allows where you have voluntarily approached us for a service. You can withdraw that consent at any time; see section 10.
We do not sell your data. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to a data broker, a lead-generation network or an advertiser. An enquiry to us goes to us.
9. How long we keep it
An enquiry that does not become a project is kept while we are still in contact about it and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us — a family planning a house often does, a year or two later. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.
Where you become a client, project records are kept for the life of the project and for as long afterwards as tax law, the law of limitation and any warranty on the work require. That is a legal obligation on us, not a preference, and it is the one case where we may not be able to delete on request.
Be aware of what we cannot reach: a WhatsApp conversation lives on Meta's service and on both phones. We can delete our copy. We cannot delete yours, and we cannot delete theirs.
10. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as its provisions come into force, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data of yours we hold, and what we have done with it.
- Have anything inaccurate corrected, and anything incomplete completed or updated.
- Have your data erased, unless we are required by law to keep it.
- Withdraw consent you have given, as easily as you gave it. We will stop using your data for anything that rested on that consent.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or become incapable of exercising them yourself.
- Have a grievance heard by us, and to take it to the Data Protection Board of India if our answer does not satisfy you.
To exercise any of these, email homelandciviltech@gmail.com with enough detail for us to find you — the phone number or email address you used when you contacted us is usually enough. We will respond within thirty days. There is no charge.
11. How your information is protected
The strongest protection here is structural rather than technical: there is no database on this website to breach, no login to compromise and no stored enquiry to leak, because the site holds none of it.
For the rest: the site is served only over HTTPS; what you type into the enquiry form is checked in your browser before a message is composed from it; and the WhatsApp hand-off opens in an isolated tab that cannot reach back into the page. Inside the firm, enquiries are kept on accounts that need them and are not circulated further.
What we cannot promise: no transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, and once a message is in WhatsApp or in an email inbox it is subject to the security of those services and of the devices they are read on.
12. Children
This website is meant for adults commissioning building work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under eighteen. If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.
13. Grievances
If something about the way we have handled your data is wrong, raise it with us first. Write to the Grievance Officer, Homeland Civil Tech, 3rd Floor, CSI Building, TC No. 28/885, Mahatma Gandhi Rd, Pulimoodu, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala 695001, or email homelandciviltech@gmail.com with "Grievance" in the subject line.
We will acknowledge within forty-eight hours of receiving it and give you a substantive answer within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with that answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
14. Changes to this policy
If we change how this site handles information — for example by adding an advertising pixel, embedded form or booking tool — we will change this page and the date at the top before the change goes live. The date is edited by hand and only when this text changes; it does not move when the site is redeployed.
