The constraint, and what we did about it.
Every plot has one thing that decides the whole design. This is the one that decided this build, and the structural answer we took to it.
What made this build difficult
Narrow 6-cent urban infill plot in Sasthamangalam with tight access roads that restricted heavy transit-mixer trucks during concrete pouring.

Design & structural decisions
Planned a central nadumuttam courtyard acting as a thermal chimney, drawing hot air upward and circulating cool breezes across all ground floor rooms.

The schedule, and where it slipped.
Handed over 15 days late. A revised KMBR sanction for the rear setback took three weeks longer than the Corporation's stated window, and no work above plinth could proceed until it was issued.
